SA Cancer Navigation Framework and Action Plan
Developed in partnership with Flinders University’s Caring Futures Institute (CFI), the Cancer Statewide Clinical Network and the Commission on Excellence and Innovation in Health (CEIH), this comprehensive Framework aims to ensure timely and equitable access to cancer care services for all South Australians, by improving their navigation of the healthcare system. The SA Cancer Navigation Framework and Action Plan focuses on addressing the complex needs of cancer patients, survivors, their families, and carers to reduce barriers to accessing timely and appropriate cancer care.
- Read the Framework: Read the SA Cancer Navigation Framework and Action Plan to understand key strategies and recommendations for improving cancer care access and coordination.
- Share the Framework: Distribute the framework to your colleagues, partners, and stakeholders to raise awareness and encourage widespread adoption, emphasizing its alignment with key plans.
- Connect with Us: Reach out to the Cancer Statewide Clinical Network (Cancer SCN), Commission on Excellence and Innovation in Health (CEIH), or Caring Futures Institute (CFI) to discuss the framework and explore opportunities ways we can work together.
- Use as Guidance: Use the Framework as a resource to inform your practices and policies where possible, ensuring your efforts align with the overarching goals of equitable and effective cancer care.
By taking these steps, we can work together to enhance cancer navigation and improve outcomes for all Australians affected by cancer.
