Rare Cancers Australia | Cancer Lived Experience Survey

Rare Cancers Australia is conducting a survey to capture the lived experiences of people diagnosed with cancer in Australia, as well as their carers, with a particular focus on rare and less common cancers.

Drawing on years of experience supporting individuals affected by rare, less common, and complex cancers, Rare Cancers Australia recognises the significant challenges many face — including delays in diagnosis, limited treatment options, insufficient support services, and high out-of-pocket costs. These challenges can deeply impact individuals and their families.

Through the Cancer Lived Experience Survey, the organisation seeks to gain deeper insights into what individuals experience before, during, and after a cancer diagnosis, including the treatment journey and its broader effects on patients and their support networks.

CNSA's encourages members to share the survey within their professional and community networks to help amplify the voices of those affected.
