Workforce representation helps us understand and predict trends in the workforce employment, education and professional development needs to inform the future needs of the profession.
National demographics helps with the strategic planning of cancer services to better meet the needs of healthcare professionals and consumers to ensure equity of access to care.

CNSA launched the Cancer Nursing Workforce Survey to better inform our understanding of what is happening in the workforce and help inform and shape our policy and advocacy work to advance the needs of the profession. This was the first and only national survey focusing specifically on cancer nurses and provided a fascinating snapshot of the current state of the cancer care workforce in Australia. Following on from the Workforce Survey Summary Report, we also delivered a series of Workforce Digests diving into the details of the survey.
