The Cancer Nurses Society of Australia (CNSA) is the peak professional body for over 7,700 dedicated cancer nurses across Australia, representing over 2,000 members. CNSA supports and advocates for cancer nurses working across all levels of patient care, covering the full spectrum of cancer nursing.
Reflecting the collective vision of our members to achieve the best possible outcomes for all people affected by cancer, CNSA acts as a resource providing education, training, knowledge-sharing and networking opportunities for cancer nurses nationwide.
Communities of Practice (CoPs) are groups of peers who share a concern or a passion for something they do and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly. The collaborative learning process of ‘thinking together’ is one of the most meaningful elements of a CoP and what makes it work. Thinking together is conceptualised as people sharing knowledge through mutually guiding each other through their understanding of the same problems in their area of shared interest. Interested in joining in on the discussion? We currently have CoPs for Breast Cancer, Nurse Educators and Nurse Managers/Executives with more coming soon.
Our online knowledge-sharing Q&A forum, Sosido, is designed to connect and empower our community. This platform fosters collaboration and allows our members to ask questions, exchange insights, recognise the achievements of researchers and clinical experts within our field, and build stronger professional networks with cancer nurses across Australia.
